Updated on 1 September 2026 | Almira was a 77-ton, 67¼-foot-long, two-masted, billet-headed schooner built in New Castle, Me., in 1832. Alexander Gross was the master. Ownership was divided into eighths and 12ths; Stephen Hilliard held one-third of the shares.1
