Text last updated on 16 January 2017 | It looks like a big house (it has nearly 2,500 square feet) and, indeed, it has housed a big population. In 1962, five adults lived at 8 Brown: Lawrence Cabral (b±1929), a heavy equipment operator; Shirley Cabral (b±1938), a housewife; Joseph Meads (b±1894), a retired fisherman; Eva Silva (b1913), a housewife; and James M. Silva (b±1909), a contractor and the owner of the property. It remains in the hands of the Silva family.
