But it was the home in the 1940s, ’50s, and ’60s of Joseph Silva (±1908-1966) and his wife, Emily (Diogo) Silva (b ±1914), and of Silva’s buisness, Joe’s Landscaping Service, which he began in 1957 and ran until his death. The property has been owned since 1969 by Jan B. G. Kelly.
