The international code flags — azure, a plate argent; and quarterly argent, sable, gules, or — signal the number “29.” [2022, Dunlap]

A noble, modest long-term survivor, together with an adjoining cottage, occupies the hillock that rises over the charmingly narrow Briggs Lane. The property at 29 Bradford was owned from 1936 to 1950 by Mary Souza (Ramos) Palheiro (1887-1963). It was purchased in 1950 by Richard Jackson Medeiros (1910-1992), a carpenter, and his wife, Frances Veronica (Souza) Medeiros (1914-2011). The property was bequeathed to Jane F. White, who sold it in 2013 for $460,000.
