A noble, modest long-term survivor, this 10-by-28-foot cottage adjoins an old house overlooking Briggs Lane. The property at 29 Bradford was owned from 1936 to 1950 by Mary Souza (Ramos) Palheiro (1887-1963). It was purchased in 1950 by Richard Jackson Medeiros (1910-1992), a carpenter, and his wife, Frances Veronica (Souza) Medeiros (1914-2011). The property was bequeathed to Jane F. White, who sold it in 2013 for $460,000.
