Text last updated on 12 March 2017 | This pressurized, twin-engine craft, which had a maximum capacity of 40 passengers, was flown from the early 1950s through the early 1960s by Trans World Airlines as the Skyliner. (Eastern Air Lines called its 4-0-4s the Silver Falcons.) The Provincetown-Boston Airline began acquiring them in 1975, all from the original TWA fleet, via Piedmont and Southeast Airlines.
