Herring Cove Beach composting toilets

Text last updated on 7 February 2017 | Given the heavy-duty exhaust stacks, I am assuming — until I learn otherwise — that these are composting toilets. George Price, the superintendent of the Cape Cod National Seashore from 2005 to 2017, cited composting toilets as fitting in with the sustainability mission of the National Park Service.
