Updated on 1 September 2026 | F/V Amanda Evelyn (1260248) is a 45-foot-long, fiberglass-hull vessel of 26 net tons, built in 2014 by SW Boatworks in Lamoine, Me. The current skipper is Harland Young of Wellfleet, whom The Provincetown Independent highlighted in 2026 for the 500-pound, 102-inch tuna he had just caught, his first of the season.1 Young is the grandson of Bernard P. “Sonny” Roderick (1928-2018), skipper of Shirley & Roland; and the nephew of Bernard P. “Little Sonny” Roderick Jr. (1950-2007), skipper of Bay of Isles.
