Provincetown House of Pizza, 50 Bradford Street. [2012, Dunlap]
Text last updated on 18 July 2016 | This is not just the House of Pizza — as it has been since 1996 — but the home of pizza, since the manager of the restaurant, Evangelos G. Lambrou (b 1980) lives here. Gregory E. Lambrou (b 1950), who also lives here, owns the property. Before the pizza shop, Provincetown Liquor Store and Video Rentals did business here in the late 1980s. This was the birthplace of Eugene J. Perry (±1924-2009), whose parents were James J. Perry and Mamie (Crawley) Perry, and whose maternal grandfather was Frank “Scarry Jack” Crawley. He attended Provincetown High School; worked for James J. Perry & Son, his father’s contracting company; and enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II, after which he moved to Florida to work for Eastern Air Lines.
