In 2015, the Ferreira family sold this property for $520,000 to Robert E. Walker of Fort Lauderdale. The Historic District Commission met at 48A Bradford Street to consider whether or not to declare the previous house a “significant building,” thereby triggering a demolition delay. Eventually, the panel concluded that the building’s original character had been so substantively modified that it could no longer be regarded as architecturally significant. It was replaced in 2016 by a three-story, three-unit condo.

Walker established the 48A Bradford Street Condominium in 2017. Unit 1 was sold in April for $772,000 and is currently owned by a resident of Somerville. Unit 3 sold days later for $780,000 to residents of Providence. And Unit 2 sold in November for $750,000, also to residents of Providence.
