Cottage

288A Bradford Street. [2013, Dunlap]

Text last updated on 27 November 2016 | About 260 feet back into the Pfeiffer family’s “great lot” remnant is a 1950s cinder-block cottage, presumably constructed by Chester “Chet” Pfeiffer. Its modestly Palm Springs-style roof is a reminder that Midcentury Modernism can come in do-it-yourself varieties, and is that much truer to Provincetown for being so.
