Town records date this hip-roofed house to 1840, but I wouldn’t be too surprised to learn that it was a half-century older. Lewis Jason (1901-1969) bought it in 1945 for $100. It has been owned since 1999 by a resident of Quincy. The rear addition, including an octagonal pavilion, was built in 2001, according to the Town.
