Text last updated on 8 November 2016 | Mary Smith (b 1926) bought this 1850s house in 1971 and has owned it ever since. From 1944 to 1965, it was the home of Thomas A. Turner (±1918-1965); his wife, Isaura (Sylvester) Turner; son, Thomas W. “Tucker” Turner; and daughter, Martha (Turner) deLomba (±1943-2002). Turner worked at the Atlantic Coast Fisheries and the Provincetown Inn. He had purchased the property for $2,500 from Matilda (Glover) Francis, the widow of Manuel Canada Francis (±1873-1940), a fisherman.
