Text last updated on 2 January 2017 | The Jolly Jack restaurant, predecessor to the Surf Club, was run by John G. Summers (±1883-1967). He and his wife, Loella Evelyn Summers (b±1897), bought this property from Anthony J. Alves in 1952 and sold it in 1964 to Fernando and Anita A. Gonsalves.
