Well into the digital age, the Beach Market still advertised that it carried “newspapers” and “film.” God bless them. [2012, Dunlap]

Gale Force, a popular place to rent bicycles for the Cape Cod National Seashore trails, occupies the site of the main barn of Galeforce Farm. The Beach Market and Sandwich Shop, which occupies the same building, is a timeless resort shop that — in its wonderful array of offerings — could have come almost straight from the 1950s. And that’s a compliment. Jeffrey Epstein is the proprietor. The business was once owned by Martha Neila (Alves) Roderick, whose grandfather founded Galeforce Farm.
