Long Point Light I

Text last updated on 19 February 2017 | The constant among all the changes out at Long Point has been Long Point Light Station. The first lighthouse — really a jumbo lantern atop the keeper’s house — was constructed in 1826. It was replaced in 1876 by the current lighthouse.
