Text last updated on 18 February 2017 | After leaving Long Point, Capt. Richard Tarrant resettled in the West End, along with a number of his neighbors from land’s end. His house, which was set down at 46 Commercial Street, was still in the hands of an “R. Tarrant” as late as the 1910 street atlas.
