Text last updated on 18 February 2017 | Though not nearly as large then as it is today, the John Williams house had an upstairs when it was still on Long Point; the only such two-story house out there. Into the 20th century, 47 Commercial Street was still owned by the Williams family: Margaret A. Williams, presumably a descendant, when it was denominated 18 Commercial Street.
