“Cape Cod Oil & Propane began in 1974 on Masonic Place in the heart of Provincetown,” the company’s website, capecodoil.com, states. “It was the vision of Mike Tasha, who started his career delivering fuel to homes and businesses throughout the Outer Cape. This company began with one delivery truck, one service van, and a commitment to stellar service. … We now have a much larger team of drivers, technicians, and office staff — plus dedicated fuel storage facilities in Harwich, Eastham and Provincetown — but we’ve never lost sight of our founder’s vision. Mike left us in 2014, and now our operations are overseen by his wife, Halcyone, and his son, Hurst, along with Hurst’s wife, Cheryl. This is still a proudly family-owned business with deep, enduring roots on the Cape.”
I’ve been told that the house at the back of the Cape Cod Oil lot is the transported Rosa Lee Summer School of Portrait Painting, from 6 Kendall Lane.
